Responsible Gambling
Betting should be entertainment, never a way to make a living or solve money problems. You must be 18 or older to use this website.
Keep it safe
- Only bet money you can afford to lose.
- Decide your budget and time limit before you start, and stick to it.
- Never chase losses and never borrow money to bet.
- Do not bet when you are upset, stressed or under the influence of alcohol.
- Take regular breaks and keep other interests in your life.
Signs that gambling may be a problem
- Betting more money or more often than you planned.
- Thinking about betting all the time, or hiding it from family and friends.
- Arguing about money, missing bills or borrowing to gamble.
- Feeling anxious, guilty or irritable when you are not betting.
Where to get help
If gambling is affecting you or someone you know, please talk to someone you trust and contact a support service in your country. Free international resources include:
- BeGambleAware
- Gamblers Anonymous
- GamCare
- Gamban (software that blocks gambling sites)
Most bookmakers also offer deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion in your account settings. Use them whenever you need to.
